What’s in a name?

Oh, everything my dear.

Flora

was the Roman goddess of spring and flowering plants, especially wildflowers. She is often shown strewing flowers over the earth. 

Rae

as a family name. As the fourth generation with this given middle name, it feels especially meaningful taking after it after my grandmother and my aunt - both of whom have been rocks, guiding me through life, uplifting me at every turn and offering unwavering love and encouragement.

Between our love for family and nature, the melding of the two couldn’t have felt more natural.
